Oregon LPC and LMFT Supervisor Training (syllabus preview)

Course Overview

This thirty hour post masters supervision training is designed for Oregon Licensed Professional Counselors and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists who seek to qualify as supervisors of registered associates under Oregon Board rules.

The course provides structured instruction in clinical supervision practice, supervisor roles and responsibilities, ethical and legal obligations, evaluation of supervisee performance, and required documentation. For LMFT participants, the course includes systems and relational supervision content as required by Oregon rule.

The training is delivered in a fully asynchronous online format and is intended to support Board compliant supervision preparation.

Required Learning Activities

Participants complete the following to demonstrate mastery of supervision training content:

  • Completion of content and quizzes

  • Creation of a supervision contract and supervision plan

  • Multicultural reflection

All assignments must be completed and approved to earn a certificate of completion.

Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate documenting:

Certificates are intended for submission to the Oregon Board in support of supervisor qualification applications.
