Course FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this course online, live, interactive, or asynchronous?

A: This course is delivered entirely online in an asynchronous, self-paced format. You can access the course materials and complete the requirements on your own schedule. There are no required live classes or scheduled attendance times.

Q: Will completing this course automatically qualify me for the ACS credential?

A: No. Successfully completing this course earns you a certificate of completion, provided you meet all course requirements. The Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) determines your eligibility for the Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential. Additional requirements may include licensure, clinical experience, an application, fees, or other CCE criteria.

Q: Is this course approved for the ACS credential?

A: Yes. Kate Walker Ph.D. is a CCE Registered Credential Training Provider (#RCTP1016-ACS), and this is an approved ACS training course. However, the training is only one part of ACS eligibility, and course completion does not guarantee that CCE will award the credential. Review CCE’s full requirements at cce-global.org. If you also plan to use this training toward a state supervisor designation, confirm with your state licensing board that it meets their requirements.

Q: How long do I have to complete this course?

A: Once purchased, your course materials remain accessible in your account, including when newer versions of the course are released. However, continued access does not extend any deadline for earning a certificate of completion.

Q: Does purchasing this course guarantee that I will receive a certificate?

A: No. Purchasing this course provides access to the training and the opportunity to earn a certificate of completion. Certificates are awarded only after you successfully complete all required lessons, assessments, and assignments, as applicable.

Academic integrity is required. Plagiarism, falsification of assignments, misrepresentation of completed work, or other documented academic dishonesty may result in disciplinary action, including removal from the course without a refund, consistent with our published policies.

Q: Can I receive a refund if I decide not to complete the course or am dissatisfied with it?

A: Due to the immediate access provided to digital course materials, purchases are generally nonrefundable, subject to applicable law and our published Terms and Conditions. Please review the course description, requirements, and purchase terms carefully before enrolling.
